Laserscope/Iridex Aura i and Aura lasers: The Iridex KTP 532nm laser is one of the staples required to start any aesthetic center. The Aura (i) is a durable, efficient, and highly effective laser for treating any vascular or pigmented based anomoly. The KTP has a peak absorption in melanan and oxyhemoglobin, giving you the best chance to clear telangectasias or any pigmented legion. Sciton Lasers: The Sciton lasers are probably the best engineered laser on the market. The scientist who designed the profile platform laser allowed for a number of upgrades and additions to the laser and plenty of options to apply to the platform. The Sciton company started as an Erbium laser company focusing on resurfacing, but has ventured off and perfected a number of other technologies. The Profile system can now offer: Erbium, Nd:YAG, BBL (with six different filters), EVLT, laser lipolosys, 1319 and put these all in the same unit. These lasers are well engineered, highly effective and command a pretty price. But you get what you pay for!
